What to Expect:
When you arrive, a member of our welcome team will greet you, invite you to make a name tag and help you find a place to sit and feel comfortable. Our services begin at 10:30 but we sing a few songs together starting at around 10:25 to help us gather. If you arrive with kids, they are welcome to stay in the service with you. We will have a story for all ages at about 10:45 before the children go to our kid’s program. Learn more about our children’s programming in the Learn menu on our website.
The service will last about an hour and we gather for some hospitality and social time after worship. This is a great opportunity to learn more about us and ask questions. Consider signing up to receive our weekly news list if you want to preview our plans for an upcoming Sunday.
Dress:
The dress at Wy’east is casual. Wy’easters might show up in a dress or suit, or they might wear shorts and a tee-shirt. Many people wear jeans. Sit anywhere you like. There is no need for you to bring anything when you come.
Public Transit:
The neighborhood is served by three TriMet Bus Routes: #12, #75 and #77 as well as the Hollywood MAX Station.
Parking:
If you drive, street parking within a few blocks is plentiful. Please note that the parking behind the Senior Center is a pay lot. We also don’t recommend parking in the lot across 40th Ave (you could get towed).
