This month marks 81 years since the U.S. dropped two nuclear bombs on Japan. That decision continues to have repercussions today. Long time UU and Peace Activist David Delk will share with us the present status of nuclear weapons as we move closer each year to Midnight on the Doomsday clock. He will explore how our shared UU values call us to raise awareness about how nuclear weapons modernization makes us more insecure and how the costs associated with that modernization moves resources from funding real human needs.
