What do we do when we encounter something we can’t explain? This service explores the tension between wonder and evidence through stories of angels, aliens, visions, and other experiences that don’t fit neatly into our understanding of reality. Rather than rushing to believe or dismiss, we’ll consider what it means to meet mystery with curiosity, humility, and compassion—and to let our questions open us rather than close us.

What questions are you carrying? Some questions have answers. Others hold possibilities. Some questions invite deeper consideration. They invite us into curiosity, conversation, and deeper understanding.

Walking a labyrinth is both a practical and metaphorical spiritual practice to contemplate the deeper things of life. Experiencing the labyrinth as a journey and ritual can provide insight, courage, and understanding for facing life's challenges. Join us as we deepen our spiritual journey by learning about labyrinths and experiencing a labyrinth walk together as a community. You are encouraged to bring a journal.

Empowered teens in the STREAM~N Team program are addressing critical issues impacting our communities, while developing career readiness, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills. Hands-on service-learning experiences with Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts, Math, and Nature are helping to restore our ecosystems and build climate resilience through supportive communities in Portland, Oregon City, and beyond. Co-Founder and fellow UU Rick Reynolds will share inspirational stories about the program and The STREAM~N Network non-profit’s impactful work, chaired by Wy'east’s own Lana Quackenbush.
