Here’s how Ambrose Bierce defined Universalist in his famous Devil’s Dictionary: “Universalist, noun. One who forgoes the advantage of a hell for persons of another faith.” But aren’t there some advantages in having a hell to hold the worst people, if not for punishment then maybe just for storage?
