Finding Hope for Deep and Lasting Change

Date

Listen to the Sermon.

Since the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, the UU Service Committee and the UU College of Social Justice have assisted Haitian partners at the Papaye Peasant Movement (MPP) in building six sustainable eco-villages, which now house families from the refugee camps of Port-au–Prince who lost their homes. Jocelyn Furbush from Wy’east participated in one of the service learning trips in 2012 and will share reflections from her experience.

Please join us for our regular Second Sunday Potluck Brunch after the service.
